IMPORTANT: The surgery CLOSES at 6pm every evening.  There will be access for patients with pre-booked evening appointments as part of our Enhanced Access commitment.
The Dispensary is open between 9am & 5pm only, please collect your medication within these hours. if this is a problem please contact us to make a prior arrangement . 
SICKNOTES: You can self-certificate for 7 days, if you need a note following 7 days and it is a problem that has been dealt with by the Doctor or hospital then please use the Contact us online request below.
 

If you have a respiratory problem and book a face to face appointment with a Doctor or Nurse, please wear a face covering when you attend the appointment. Thank you

If you request a Doctors appointment, we have asked our receptionists to ask about the reason for your call so they can book you an appointment with the most appropriate Health Professional and you will be offered either a telephone or face to face appointment. Do not attend the surgery unless you have an appointment arranged. 

ONLINE MEDICATION ORDERING  If you wish to write a message to dispensary when you order medication, please write it in the box on the second page, beneath the list of medication you have ordered, not the first page (as this deletes the list of medication you want). Thank you

Medication reviews. In future, on your repeat prescription list, if there is a message in bold print, please take note of it as it will be a message for you personally. (The automatic message has been removed). We are reviewing how medication reviews are carried out and you may note your review date may have been changed.

Repeat Prescriptionsblue_yellow_pills

Requests for repeat prescriptions should be made on the slips provided or in writing. Please allow 3 FULL working days from ordering. The following methods are available:

In person - drop the slip in the box at reception having clearly marked the items required.

By post - addressed to Repeat Prescriptions at the above address.

Online - by registering for online access. Please enquire at reception.

NHS App - download the NHSApp and register for online access to order your prescriptions via the App. For a downloadable leaflet about this click NHS APP .

DISPENSARY. Our Dispensary is open from 9am to 5pm for supplying medicines and advice. If you have any queries about your medication, please speak to a member of the dispensary team, who can refer your query on to one of the clinicians if required. Alternatively you can make a non-urgent online query to the surgery using accuRx HERE .

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

COMMUNITY PHARMACIES

Many Community pharmacies have now signed up to the Pharmacy First Scheme which enables qualified Pharmacists to prescribe some medication for common ailments. These include: simple ear infections (up to age 17), urine infections in women (16-64 year), impetigo (1year and older), infected insect bites (1year and older), sinusitis (12 years and over), sore throat (5 years and over) and shingles (18 years and over). Our dispensary does not offer this service.

If you need access to a community pharmacy you can find the nearest one to you by using FIND A PHARMACY. You will need your postcode to access this.

Please allow three full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. If you collect your medications from the dispensary we will send you a text message once your medications are ready for collection.
